Church plates

So there seems to be a phenomenon around thrift stores. We find church plates. It's not just in Seattle. The first pic that is posted is of a plate we found in Mt. Vernon and the second is one we found in Ballard. We find them at nearly every store we go to!

We headed north yesterday!

Yesterday we made a trip north. Although most of what we did was not thrift ninja expedition we did manage to sneek in two stores. There was lots of ugly in Mt. Vernon but little worth posting. I do have a few though. See for yourselves.

Our first blog post!

Here we go!  This is our very first blog post.  

This blog was born out of our thrift store adventures.  My mom and I regularly make the rounds at the thrift stores to find cool things.  I will give her more credit here since she is more of an avid thrifter than I am.  Since remodeling and reclaiming the basement at my house it was necessary to find some furnishings, furniture, art, and knick-knacks. 

We have found some really AMAZING things.  We have also found some horrible things!

So the idea is to post things that we have found.  Possibly with the location and how much we paid for them.   Or the horrible, gorpy, ugly, bad finds with prices too.  Some of the things we find we don't know who would want them, where they would go, or even what they are!!!
